The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan hosted the vibrant Tutam Brigade drawn from Nairobi City County at the Party Headquarters, Hustler Plaza.
Led by their Patron Liz Waithira, and drawn from the 17 constituencies of Nairobi City County, the group is championing public sensitization of programs being undertaken by the government, even as they drum up support for President Ruto’s re-election in 2027.
Beyond mere advocacy, the brigade’s ambitious roadmap to scale operations across all 47 counties underscores a nationwide strategy to consolidate the women’s vote for the Party.
Sen. Hassan assured the group of the party’s support as they advance their mission.
Present were UDA Vice Chairperson, Kelvin Lunani, Party Directors, Joseph Mulili (Finance and Administration), Nathaniel Mong’are (Communication), Margaret Ndanyi (Women Affairs), Rob Jilo (Political Affairs, Resource Mobilization & Diaspora), and Grace Gicovi (Membership).
