Joining National Elections Board (NEB) Chairperson, Anthony Mwaura, UDA National Chairperson, H. E Cecily Mbarire, Secretary General, Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife Rebecca Miano, visited various polling centers to observe the exercise.
Ten aspirants expressed interest in contesting the seat on the party ticket.
They are Joseph Ndirangu Ndung’u, Peter Njoroge Mugo, Samuel Muchina Nyagah, Njoroge Wambugu Kanuri, Maina Kiambati, Joseph Chuchu Njuguna, Stanley Mwangi Wairimu, Mary Nyokabi Kamau, Daniel Ndung’u Mwangenye, Ezekia Kamweru Kiraing’wa.
The exercise was conducted using electronic tablets with results tabulated in real time at the close of the exercise.
