Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migosi, UDA Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar, National Treasurer Hon. Japheth Nyakundi joined H.E Li Xi and his team as they toured the coffee estate and later taken through the national heritage of cultural diversity that the museum provides.
At Fairview Estate, Digital Marker and Guide Kelvin Opel took H.E Li Xi through the coffee milling process, before serving him a cup of brewed coffee.
The diversity of Kenya’s cultures and history at the museum were narrated by the institution’s Director Prof. Mary Gakungi and Antiquities Sites and Monuments Director Dr. Maanthi Kyalo.
H.E Li Xi underscored the century old cultural, trade ties between Kenya and China, saying they formed the basis of the continued cordial relationship between the two countries.
UDA Party Directors Joseph Mulili (Finance and Administration) Rob Jillo (Communications), Daniel Kiptoo (Programmes and Partnerships), Halake Waqo (Political Affairs), also accompanied the China delegation.
CPC has been in bilateral talks with UDA Party in leadership as the two parties seek to enhance their collaboration on areas of mutual interest.
