Modern conduct of diplomacy is increasingly evolving, necessitating far-reaching adaptations to address emerging global challenges ranging from shifting geopolitical alignments, neocolonial tendencies, multipolarity, and sovereignty, to the growing influence of non-state actors in international affairs, thus calling for political parties to augment the wheels of diplomacy.
It is in this spirit that the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General, Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan held a bilateral virtual engagement with Sen. Andrey Klimov, a Member of the Bureau of the Supreme Council of the United Russia (UR) Party.
The meeting highlighted the importance of sustained party-to-party diplomacy in fostering mutual understanding, strengthening strategic cooperation, and exchanging perspectives on contemporary regional and global issues of shared interest.
Also in attendance were Mrs. Valeria Gorokhova, Director of International Relations, United Russia Party, UDA Executive Director Nicodemus Bore, Director of Political and Diaspora Affairs Rob Jillo, Director of Women Affairs and Training Margaret Ndanyi, and Director of Programs and Partnerships Daniel Kiptoo.
