UDA Secretary General Sen.Cleophas Malalah took time to visit the home of CPC founder Mao Zedong in Shaoshan Hunan Province. Sen. Malalah laid a wreath in front of Mao Zedong’s statue, honoring his great legacy.

Mao, born on December 26, 1893, in Shaoshan, Hunan Province, was a pivotal figure in Chinese political leadership and history.

As the founding father of the People’s Republic of China, established in 1949, Mao led the Communist Party of China (CPC) through a transformative period, including the Long March and the Cultural Revolution.

His political philosophy, known as Maoism, influenced revolutionary movements worldwide.

Present were the Deputy Director General of IDCPC, Mr. Liang Anping, and CPC officials.

Just as China honors its national heroes, Kenya celebrates its own too—those who have shaped our nation and continue to inspire us.
