UDA Secretary General, Sen. Cleophas Malalah hosted the Communist Party of China delegation led by H.E. MAO Dingzi, member of the Ministerial board of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee (ODCPC) and China’s Ambassador to Kenya- H.E Zhou Pingjian at the Party headquarters.
Together the two leaders resolved to ensure that the parties increase cooperation in the areas around:
1. Leadership, exchange programs and establishment of UDA Party Leadership School.
2. Collaboration in capacity building, strengthening of party structures and programs.
3. Support the UDA Party in areas of ICT as it prepares to conduct its first ever grassroot elections next year April.
4. Working closely with CPC as it moves to build Party offices in the country that shall have a leadership school.
5. Strengthening areas of trade, Foreign Direct investments, infrastructure and scholarships.
The two leaders, H.E Dingzi and SG Malalah further said the exchange programmes between the two political parties will strengthen bilateral talks between Kenya and China on both political and social economics
