SPLM and UDA Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Juba to Strengthen Party-to-Party Ties

At the SPLM Headquarters in Juba, Republic of South Sudan, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) and the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Strategic Political Cooperation aimed at strengthening party-to-party relations, enhancing the role of political parties in advancing regional integration, and promoting joint advocacy for the realization of Pan-African ideals.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Secretary General of the SPLM, Cde. Dr. Akol Paul Kordit, and the Secretary General of the UDA, Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan.

The two Secretary Generals reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two parties through regular dialogue, exchange of best practices, leadership and cadre development, and collaboration on issues of mutual interest.

The delegation also included UDA National Organising Secretary and Mwala Member of Parliament, Hon. Vincent Kawaya and Special Advisor to the Secretary General, Sabastian Mwangangi
