At State House, Juba, South Sudan, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General, Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan and his delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan and Chairperson of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).
The meeting marked the culmination of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement formally signed by the Secretary General of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), Cde. Dr. Akol Paul, and the Secretary General of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan.
President Kiir, in his capacity as SPLM Chairperson, pledged to ensure the full implementation of the agreement, underscoring the importance of sustained collaboration for the mutual benefit of both parties and the region.
The delegation also included UDA National Organising Secretary and Mwala Member of Parliament, Hon. Vincent Kawaya.
