UDA Isiolo South’s Tubi Jnr assured of victory as opponent withdraws

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate for Isiolo South Constituency, Tubi Mohamed Tubi inched closer to victory during the upcoming 26th February 2026 by-elections following the withdrawal of the National Economic Development Party (NEDP) candidate, Isack Abduba Fayo, in his favour.

The UDA Party Leader, H.E. William Samoei Ruto, thanked Fayo for withdrawing his candidature in support of Tubi, terming it as a bold step towards the consolidation of Isiolo County in support of the Broad-based government inclusive development agenda.

President Ruto reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment towards lifting the entire nation from systemic historical marginalisation. The Party Leader appreciated the support accorded to him by the large majority of the Kenyan people towards the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

The Party Leader was joined by the UDA Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan, and the Executive Director, Nicodemus Bore.

Also present in the meeting were Isiolo Senator Hon. Fatuma Dullo and Community elder Hon. Charfana Guyo Mokku.
