The UDA delegation on an official visit to China on the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by the Secretary General, Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan toured Hangzhou Science-Tech Exhibition Hall and Hangzhou Dream Town in Yuhang District, Zhejiang Province.
The Hangzhou Science Tech City is a national level innovation and entrepreneurship hub of industries that deal in IT, biomedicine, green energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence products, a model Kenya continues to adopt at Konza and Tatu cities.
The Dream Town serves as a central hub for startups, regularly hosting seminars, product demonstrations, and outdoor fairs. These events aim to equip young people with the necessary knowledge to successfully incubate their business ideas, guiding them on their journey towards becoming large enterprises.
