UDA Party Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar attended a thanksgiving church service at St James ACK Church Nakwapuo in Kacheliba, West Pokot County that was presided over by Bishop Micheal Chore from Uganda, urging worshippers to remain steadfast in their support for the Government Sen Omar said President Ruto is working with marginalized communities that for long had been marginalized.
The SG who urged localĀ politicians to join the party was flanked by Matuga MP Kassim Tandaza Sawa, former West Pokot Governor Prof. John Lonyangapuo Kapenguria MP Samuel Moroto, Sigor MP Peter Lochakapong and West Pokot Woman Rep Rael Aleutum Chepocheptindi.
Others were former Kacheliba MP Mark Lomunokol, former MP Regina Nyeris, Weiwei ward MCA David Moiben, UDA nominated MCAs Marishana Cheruto, Mary Mlee (Nominated) among other local leaders.
[6:09 PM, 11/16/2025] UDA Philip Comm: Senate Speaker Amason Kingi led a widows empowerment event as he drummed up support for UDA Malava candidate David Ndakwa ahead of next week’s by-election.
Accompanying Kingi were Bungoma County Governor Ken Lusaka and President William Ruto’s Personal Aide Farouk Kibet. They were hosted by Manda Shivanga ward MCA David Kivishi.
Kingi urged the widows drawn from across the larger ward that Ndakwa was the best choice for Malava constituency as he had been consistently advocating for the widows’ rights as well as youth, women and the elderly.
