The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan led the Uasin Gishu County sensitisation exercise in Eldoret ahead of the 10 January 2026 party grassroots polls, where he urged the residents to embrace the re-election of President William Ruto in 2027.
The Secretary General, who spoke at Central Primary School during a session also attended by the party National Elections Board (NEB) member Ferrah Etyang, also called on the young people to vie for the party positions.
Present were Elections Disputes Resolution Committee (EDRC) member Hellen Makone, Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei, Soy MP David Kiplagat (DK), Nominated MP Joseph Wainaina, County Assembly Majority Leader Julius Sang, UDA Deputy Executive Director Brian Higgins Mbugua among other leaders.
