UDA host Communist Party of China Academy’s Central Committee

The UDA Party on Monday hosted the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China’s National Academy of Governance (CNAG) at Hustler Plaza.

The China delegation led by CNAG’s Vice President Professor Gong Weibin discussed ways of strengthening ties between the two parties.

UDA Secretary General Sen Hassan Omar hosted the team.

Sen Hassan likened UDA Bottom-UP Economic Transformational Agenda (BETA) ideology to CPC’s while Prof. Edward Kisiangani, Senior Advisor, Presidential Council of Economic Advisors, who also attended the meeting hailed President William Ruto’s economic model for narrowing inequality gaps.

“We are seeking equality through the five-pillar government agenda anchored on Universal Health Coverage, Agricultural transformation, digital superhighway, affordable housing, and infrastructure development,” said Prof. Kisiangani.

UDA Deputy Executive Director Brian Mbugua, Directors Rob Jillo, Nathaniel Mung’are, Grace Gicovi, Margaret Ndanyi, Emmanuel Kibet and Dr. Jason Kapkirwok, Advisor to Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir accompanied Sen Omar.
