President Ruto deserves a second term, say UDA Kakamega leaders

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leaders in Kakamega are rooting for President William Ruto’s second term to complete the grand development projects he has initiated.

The leaders drawn from Kakamega’s 12 constituencies said they will take their ‘Ruto-Tena’ campaign to the grassroots as they market UDA ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The grassroots leaders meeting chaired by the UDA county administrator Desmond Shinaka at the Kakamega County party office also vowed to deliver the Malava parliamentary and Kwisero’s Kisa East ward seats to UDA in the forthcoming by-elections.

“Our resolve as a party is to ensure President William Ruto’s support increases in Kakamega county. We will work round the clock to deliver to UDA the Malava parliamentary and Kwisero’s Kisa East ward seats in the looming by-election,” said Shinaka.

The leaders also slammed former UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala as one who failed to deliver when he was offered an opportunity to serve at the helm of the ruling party.

Present at the meeting were Kakamega County Assembly Minority Leaders Hon David Ndakwa, MCAs Hon Wanami Peter,
Hon Akosi Boniface, Hon Kefa Musiya, Hon Musundi David, Hon Rosemary Emonde (nominated), Professor Sammy Kubasu, former MCAs Lukulu Ben, Walter Andati among other leaders.
