UDA grassroots election hopefuls from the Lake Region counties and Bungoma were the second last group to be sensitized ahead of the April 11-12 polls in the exercise that is drawing to a close this Saturday.
Party National Elections Board members on Friday oversaw training of spirants for various posts from Siaya, Kisumu, Migori and Bungoma counties at the party headquarters, Hustler Plaza.
The weeklong training initiative for the unique electronic vote which has targeted hopefuls of various county positions goes to the ground at the respective 22 counties next week to mark the second phase of training.
The elections that run from the polling station to county level before the national vote is seen as Party Leader President William Ruto’s strategy to enhance his grip ahead of the 2027 General Election.
