SG Hassan Omar pledges to rescue cash strapped Embu National Super League 3K FC

UDA Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar has promised to support the initiative to rescue cash strapped Embu-based National Super League football side, 3K Football Club.

Sen Omar met with the 11-member delegation led by chairman Charles Njagi, who paid him a courtesy call at Hustler Plaza, the party headquarters.

The SG pledged to grace the team’s funds mobilization dinner scheduled for April 12 by the former Division One Zone A side to help raise a Sh 8 million deficit of the total Sh 11 million needed to run its activities this season.

“I will do everything possible within my reach to assist you proceed on this season. I am personally so passionate about soccer and youth empowerment,” said Sen Omar.

On his part, Njagi said they can only raise 3 million from gate collection and merchandise sales to proceed on with the league as well as get a bus for the club.
