UDA Executive Director Nicodemus Bore urges positive reporting on Africa

UDA Party Executive Director Nicodemus Bore wants media houses in Africa to redefine the image of the continent by adopting positive reporting.

Bore who spoke in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at the second Prosperity Party Congress, said the image and story of Africa has been distorted and wrongly portrayed for a long time.

Bore who described Kenya and Ethiopia as ‘partners in many commonalities’ also called on stronger ties between the two countries for the betterment of their citizens.

“Because Ethopia and Kenya share a lot in common there’s need for stronger ties and relations to advance the ideals of the citizens of these two nations,” said Bore.

Bore later visited the Ethiopian News Agency’s (ENA) state-of-the-art media complex in Addis where he was received by ENA’s Chief Executive Officer Seife Derebe where he lauded their good work as the sole news wire agency that has become the voice of Africa.
