UDA urges youth to be vibrant as 2024 Comrade Chapters Edition closes in Kericho.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) top leadership used the Kericho Comrade Chapter to rally the youth in the country to rise up and be counted.

Secretary General Sen Hassan Omar and National Treasurer Hon Japheth Nyakundi called on the youth to venture into entrepreneurship and political leadership.

The party has been holding town hall meetings with university and tertiary institutions’ students in several counties aimed at bringing them aboard leadership and governance as well as informing the public what the government is doing to Kenyans.

President William Ruto is passionate about the success of young people. It is now time for the youth to champion their interests because there is no country without the youth,” said Hon Nyakundi.

Other speakers at the event were Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot,National Employment Authority Chair Vincent Kigen, Presidential Council of Economic Advisors member Prof. Vincent Machuki, James Maina(Director National Housing),Youth Fund Director Faith Nora Lukosi, Joshua Arap Sang(Director,Office of the Government spokesperson),Antonellah Kakuko(Head Digital Communication,UDA) among others.
