UDA Party Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar will on Saturday lead a team assembled by the Party to engage North Rift region university and college students.
The Party will be hosting the UDA Eldoret Comrade Chapter.
In his reconnection with the students, Omar, a former student leader at Moi University, will be joining other experts in engaging the students on matters of their interests, and especially on programmes being rolled out by the Government and which are benefitial to them.
UDA is determined to involve university and tertiary institution students and leaders ahead of the inception of its Leadership Academy in Karen next year.
Such rotational forms have been held in Bomas of Kenya, Mombasa, Nakuru and Kisumu, where concerns like affordable housing, the new universities funding model, among others, have been discussed.
The engagements have seen students and Kenyans not only gain understanding of government policies but also provide an opportunity for them to air their views after interrogating the same.
