The ruling party UDA through the National Elections Board is currently conducting constituency elections in the Seven Constituencies in Busia County. The team which is led by NEB Vice Chair Ms.Veronicah Kiberenge promised to conduct a free and transparent digital election which will boost the party’s representation at the grassroots level in line with the party’s constitution . Part of the 20 elected leaders at this level will qualify to attend the National Delegates Conference(NDC).This includes Chairpersons, Secretary, Treasurer, Organizing Secretary, Youth representative and PWD representative after gazettement by the National Elections Board. Busia County has 7 constituencies namely; Teso South, Teso North,Butula,Matayos,Funyula,Nambale and Budalangi’.
