UDA Party’s National Election Board has retained the 36 Returning Officers who will conduct elections in the polling centers, where repeat polls will be conducted in Busia county.
NEB decided that the election in 36 polling centers be repeated on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 9 am to 3 pm.
The Returning Officers were retrained on the code of conduct to be adhered to in the repeat grassroots elections, which will be purely electronic.
Busia County had 400 polling centers for the April 26, 2024 election out of which the Board, chaired by Eng. Anthony Mwaura ruled that polls in 36 centers be repeated.
Eng. Mwaura has encouraged UDA party members in these centers to turn up in large numbers and vote for their grassroots leaders.
