The UDA Party has increased its foothold in Meru County by welcoming the independent elected Governor -Kawira Mwangaza to the Party.
During a well attended welcoming ceremony at the Party headquarters, UDA Secretary General Sen.Cleophas Malalah noted that Governor Kawira’s arrival signifies the strong party grip on the county.
The Party Chair- Governor Cecily Mbarire while welcoming Hon.Kawira, noted that her entry marks a start of true reconciliation in Meru while ushering in Politics of development.
Hon. Kawira noted that UDA is a Party that nurtures women and she has indeed found a perfect vehicle for her 2027 race.
The meeting was also attended by Hon. Rebecca Tonkei -Chair- IDRC, local Meru MCAs, women leaders and opinion leaders from Meru County.
