The meeting sought to enhance accountability to the electorate, by establishing a stronger linkage between the UDA party and the Ministry by identifying and strengthening areas of synergy such as information sharing and Partnership in strategic areas in support of the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
The CS highlighted key achievements in his Ministry which include the Sh 47 Billion already disbursed under the Hustler Fund.
The CS committed to push for a feedback mechanism between his Ministry and the Party where views and comments from hustlers will be heard and responded to in good time.
The Executive Director in his remarks congratulated the CS for the achievements realized by his Ministry and the need for cooperation between the party and the Ministry in reaching out to hustlers through different empowerment programmes to better their lives.
