Party History
8 January 2021Foundation of New Party
The United Democratic Party is formed - a decision motivated by the need to transform the course of Kenyan politics and governance.
9 May 2022Kenya Kwanza Coalition
UDA joins hands with other parties, among them ANC and FORD Kenya. The coalition remains cohesive as member parties share the same political ideology, and more importantly, share the same vision for Kenya.
9 August 20222022 General Elections
H.E. William Samoei Ruto, PhD is elected the 5th president of the Republic of Kenya, alongside H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH, on a United Democratic Alliance party ticket.
