UDA Party led by Party directors pitched tent in Embakasi as they intensified membership recruitment and drummed up support for the ruling party.
The directors were at Gate B/Church Road in Embakasi Ward, Embakasi East Constituency for a membership drive.
The exercise, which brought together party diehards, was led by Membership Director Samuel Mwangi, who urged area residents to register as UDA members for them to participate in party activities, including the forthcoming grassroots elections slated for April 2024.
He urged members to also vie for leadership positions in the polls, with the deadline for enlisting to contest pushed to March 21, 2024.
Events and Logistics director Ms.Grace Gicovi urged women and youths not to shy from seeking leadership positions to ensure their participation in party activities.
Director in charge of Special Interest Groups and Minority Communities Mr.Halake Waqo Halake drummed support for people living with disabilities, challenging them to also front themselves to enhance their voice in party activities.
Others in the drive were Mr.Sande Oyolo (Counties Liaison Manager), Mr.Roy Smith Mwatia, popularly known as Rufftone, (Nairobi Regional Manager), Marvin Wamukota (Internal Auditor) and political affairs officer Mr.Desmond Shinaka, among other members of the Secretariat.
